A Raw Mixture of Circus, Story telling and Live Illustration.
Auckland 2018 | Wellington 2019 | Perth 2020
Krīdati navigates the line of when creativity turns from self help to self harm and asks “if not for the joy, then why?”
A eulogy to the forgotten pillow-forts of youth. Krīdati exposes the emergence of self awareness asking happened to our fearless imaginations and how did our inner critics become so noisy? Through movement, circus and live art projection, the central characters fight fear with mischief, unpacking their relationships between creativity and mental wellbeing.
Pouring humour with half a pinch of heartache, a dash of childhood games and a twist of nostalgia, Manubrium serve audiences one titillating tonic that might just be the cure…
Drink up.
